  14. I have an older internal banksia 14.4 modem which is made specially (I 
  15. think) for the Texas Instruments TM4000E.  Now it must be 3 or 4 years 
  16. old.  My problem is that whenever I dial into my ISP or any BBS it kicks 
  17. me off.  I have been told that old modems are not compatible with new 
  18. ones.  Is this right?  if not, does anybody out there know of anything 
  19. which will remedy my situation
